Vacancies at The Encephalitis Society

Board of Trustees - Treasurer

The Encephalitis Society is an exciting charity who delivers its quality services with passion and dynamism.  We are highly regarded among the scientific and medical communities as well as among those we serve.  We are looking for a treasurer who wants to work within such an organisation, and who in doing so, will make a real difference to people whose lives have been devastated by this brain condition.

The treasurer will oversee the financial matters of the charity in line with good practice and in accordance with the governing document and legal requirements and report to the board of trustees at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation. The treasurer will ensure that effective financial measures, controls and procedures are put in place, and are appropriate for the charity.
